The Brain Dance

Do this 5 minute Brain Dance each morning with your child to help them transition from waking up to daycare or preschool. It allows the brain to get ready for learning and relieves stress.

Note: Make sure your dance floor is free of trip hazards, like carpets and blankets that may interrupt progressive movements when your child starts to dance.

These movements help integrate reflexes that are essential for healthy brain development. The activities develop our whole brain, and going through them daily or weekly may also fill in sensory-motor system gaps, possibly caused by birth trauma, lack of floor time as an infant, illness, or head injury.
